BLUEFINS: WVP vs. N. Carroll Recap

Good Afternoon, Bluefins!

WAY TO GO to all our Bluefins! They did an awesome job at the meet yesterday and it went in our favor with a WIN!! Two Bluefin records were broken and we had some Straehle qualifiers as well. Keep in mind that the times on the result sheets are a bit faster since the N. Carroll pool is a yard pool. Ribbons were awarded for anyone who placed 1st through 8th place and did not DQ. The ribbons will be available starting tomorrow during practices in the Bluefin mailbox.

Jack Wiggins has broken the WVP records for the13/14 Boy’s 100 IM and 13/14 Boy’s 50 Fly.

This week - morning practices continue. REMINDER: Practice and Meets are “rain or shine.” As long as there is no lightning or thunder in the area, the kids will be in the pool. If there is a change in the schedule due to weather, we will do our best to send out a notice via SwimTopia/email as soon as possible. There is also a Bluefins Facebook page if you’d like to get/share other information.

On a personal note: The Kaplan family is going on vacation starting Friday (06/30) so Toni Vandewinckel will be covering my job as Team Rep, as well as my trainees - Marlena Dillenbeck and Elizabeth Cottrell.
