Woodbridge Valley Bluefins

50/50 Raffle - Walks around the pool collecting money and giving out tickets for our 50/50 raffle. Half goes to the winner, other half goes to the Bluefins. This is a great job for someone who likes to chat with people. 2 half-meet positions, switch after backstroke

Announcer - This person calls kids to the clerk of course, and makes any other announcements that are needed during the meet. 1 position, full meet

Clerk of Course - Organize the swimmers at the clerk of course (near deep end) and line them up in the chairs behind the blocks. 2 half-meet positions, switch after backstroke

Set Up & Clean Up - Prep the pool for the swim meet, including installing the blocks, setting up clerk of course, putting up flags, removing ladders, and more. Break down the meet (put blocks away, reinstall ladders, move furniture back, etc.) and prepare the pool for regular pool hours. 6 positions, arrive at the pool at 7:00 am, work is done when the meet is over

Concessions Workers - Work the concessions stand handling food and money, this is a major fundraiser for the team. 3 half-meet positions, switch after backstroke

Grill Master - Work the grill cooking hot dogs and hamburgers for concessions stand. 1 position, most of meet

Head Timer - Runs two watches as backup and makes sure all timers report to their lanes. 2 half meet positions, switch after backstroke

Timers - Time the events. 18 positions, 9 each half, switch after backstroke

Heat Winner Rewards - Gives the heat winner an Airhead candy. 2 half meet positions, switch after backstroke (can be a non-swimming sibling that works this job)

Runner - "Run" timer sheets from timers to table workers. 2 half meet positions, switch after backstroke

Stroke & Turn Judge - Must be CMSL or USA Certified. 2 half meet positions, switch after backstroke

Table Workers - Work with computer worker, circle time sheets, verify times before posting. 3 positions, 1 position is ribbon sorter, full meet
