Good Morning, Bluefins!

Thank you to all the parents who worked so hard to run our meet! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, you make my job so much easier. Thank you to my fellow senior parents for making the senior tributes so lovely this year.

Meet recap: Despite some really great races, the Bluefins lost to Springdale 239-235.

Straehle Qualifiers: the Girls’ 9-10 relay team - Emma Arconti, Eden Pladna, Molly Wiggins, and Braelynn Wilson and the Boys’ 9-10 relay team - Elliott Atkins, Joshua Needham, Corbin Villamor, and Carter Wilson.

SwimTopia App - We’ve heard of some glitches on the app where things aren’t showing up or linking correctly. Please go into SwimTopia through the desktop/website and do all the things there.

Practice Reminders - On Wednesday, 07/26 ALL PRACTICES are canceled due to Straehles. Good Luck to the Bluefins who qualified!

Swim-A-Thon - This is a big fundraiser for us. We ask that Bluefin families collect pledges for their swimmers. People can pledge a lump sum or an amount per lap (back and forth in the pool). During Monday’s practice, it would be great if parents could help to keep track of how many laps our Bluefins are completing. The pledge form is attached. Checks should be made to Woodbridge Valley Pool with “Swim-A-Thon” on the memo line. If people want to make pledges with Venmo, please use mine @kaplandidi25 (last 4 -3115, code attached below) and make a note that this is for the Swim-A-Thon.

Potluck - On one of my original calendars I have a potluck scheduled on Friday, 07/28, and another on the 29th for the end-of-season party. CORRECTION: There is no potluck on Friday, 07/28 due to the potluck for our end-of-season party. See below for the link to sign up for a dish.
